The Virtual Trip Took Three Times Longer!

Crazy 90-Hour Cross-Country Google Street View Race (Jalopnik)

At a pace of 90 hours and 104,619 clicks, it turns out driving across the country in real life is faster than making a coast-to-coast click trip on Google Street View.
It took 90 hours, 104,619 clicks and an entire case of energy drinks for two web nerds to click-race each other from sea to shining sea using Google Street View.
Considering it took Alex Roy 31 hours and four minutes to not-at-all-legally accomplish the same thing in an M5, we're thinking it makes more sense to get your own car and do a cross-country drive of your own at a more leisurely (and legal) pace than Roy.
Hey, if web geeks with carpal tunnel syndrome can do it, anyone can.
