The Ballots are in ..... (CarScoop)

It is formally announced that I know sh*t about vehicle design and appeal to the general public.  When  Porsche came out with the Cayenne, their interpretation of the SUV.  I am not a fan.  Period.  This car has been a successful and accepted within the automotive fraternity - maybe I should just drive one and my mind would change.  I doubt that though, I'm just not a fan of the SUV/COV segment.  Period.  


And when the first drawings of the upcoming Panamera were leaking out, I again could not believe the fugliness. Stronger than ever. But I am wrong again.  The Panamera is fast becoming a sales LEADER for Porsche.  Again maybe I just need to drive one.  Then again, maybe not.  I'll just leave me with my biases for now.



In April, Porsche's new four-door Panamera recorded its best-ever one-month with sales of 678 units becoming Porsche's best-selling model in the US for the very first time since its introduction in the market in October 2009. To date, Porsche has sold 3,410 Panamera saloons in the U.S.

Overall, Porsche sold 1,747 units from its current model lines to US customers in April, recording a six-percent fall on the same month last year.
