CALGARY, Alberta — This weekend, car2go Canada Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of

Since the carsharing company launched in July 2012, more than 35,000 people have registered as members of car2go and more than 500,000 trips have been taken in the blue and white
smart fortwo vehicles, making Calgary the fastest growing car2go city in North America.
To celebrate the one year anniversary of car2go in Calgary, the company will host a special
member event at the Sun and Salsa Festival on July 21 and the proceeds of the event will be
donated to The Salvation Army for flood relief in Calgary.

“The acceptance of car2go in Calgary has been significant, “said Nicholas Cole, president and
CEO of car2go Canada. “Not only have Calgarians made car2go a part of their daily mobility
routine, they have also made it a part of their community. Calgary has made its mark as one of the fastest growing car2go cities globally, and we could not be happier with the success.”
