RM's Aalholm Collection auction conducted in southern Denmark this weekend attracted overwhelming interest from both bidders and enthusiasts from around the globe. For two days, hundreds of interested collectors lined up to register for the sale. Several lots attracted more than 20 phone bidders.
High-sale honors for the sale went to the 1938 Maybach which sold for $1.7m, nearly 12 times high estimate. Preliminary results show a sale total in excess of $12m. Select results are available on RM's website here.
