Say What?

This is one of those things that you just shake your head about in full confuzzlement. The company that many thought would never go bankrupt, once the world's largest corporation, loses its CEO, unexpectedly? If emerging from bankruptcy is not difficult enough, now let's throw in some executive musical chairs. Wait more musical chairs? Is there a theme coming from this financial contagion? Be careful what you say and think. In an blink of any eye, how the world changes.

Fritz Henderson steps down as GM CEO

Fritz Henderson has resigned as General Motors CEO, the automaker said on Tuesday. Henderson will be replaced by board chairman Ed Whitacre.
Henderson had been scheduled to make a speech in Los Angeles on Wednesday at the opening of the press preview days for the Los Angeles auto show. He had also been scheduled to be a speaker at the Automotive News World Congress in January.
In a press conference, Whitacre said the board accepted Henderson's resignation on Tuesday.
GM is beginning a search for a new president and CEO immediately, Whitacre said....
